The STL
serves the city of Laval, on the island just north of Montreal, with a fleet of
260 buses serving 369,000 residents. There
are also connections to the STM Metro at Henri-Bourassa, Côte-Vertu and Radisson stations in Montreal, and at Cartier, de
la Concorde and Montmorency stations in Laval.
The fleet consists mostly of Classic and LFS buses.

5838 was a 1988 MCI Classic, seen at Terminus Laval on May 22, 2002. Early MCI Classics share many of the design features of the earlier GM Classics, such as a 6V71N engine and a slightly more compact taillight cluster (compare with 6503 below). |
