The RTCS, standing for Régie du transport en commun de Shawinigan and formerly the RITCCM, is a sub-agency of Autobus LPR, a charter bus company based in Shawinigan. Autobus LPR also provides school buses and highway coaches for various excursions. The RTCS fleet has seven buses, consisting of four GM and MCI Classics and three ElDorado E-Z Rider II MAX buses. There are two weekday routes and one weekend-and-summer route which serve the communities of Shawinigan, Shawinigan-Sud, St-Georges and Grand-Mère.

1007 is a 1994 NovaBus Classic, formerly Autobus La Québécoise 9496, spotted waiting at the Collège de Shawinigan on Sept. 28, 2002. This bus has fibreglass seats with no inserts of any kind, as one can see through the windshield of the bus. Both 1004 and 1007 have been retired from service. |
