The Corning-Erwin Area Transit System provides
scheduled bus service in the city of Corning, the villages of Gibson, Painted
Post and Riverside, and the towns of Corning and Erwin. First Transit owns and operates the buses,
which run from Monday to Friday from 6:30AM until 7:00PM and meet every half
hour at the Transportation Center on Tioga Avenue, which is near Centerway Square in downtown Corning. CEATS also operates a free shuttle from
downtown to the Corning Museum of Glass that operates seven days a week
starting at 9:00AM.
