Public transit in the city of Brockville is provided by Brockville Transit, one of the smallest transit systems in eastern Ontario, having a fleet of only four cutaway minibuses.  Service is provided on three routes: “Red”, “Green” and “Blue”.  Each route takes one hour to complete and they meet on Pine Street in front of the courthouse in downtown Brockville, and at the Wal-Mart on Parkedale Avenue.  Service is provided Monday to Saturday, from 6:30AM to 6:00PM.

This bus is 50491, a 1991 Orion 01.502, seen on George Street near the Brockville courthouse on September 18, 2000.  It has since been withdrawn from service and replaced by the Ford minibus 50301.

After being sold by Brockville Transit, 50491 was used as a campaign bus during the 2006 Hamilton municipal elections, and it is now in the possession of a private owner in the Guelph area.  It is shown there in a few photos taken by Orion 4.

50299 was a 1999 Ford E-450 minibus, shown at the Brockville Centre on September 18, 2000.  This bus was retired after the 2005 buses were delivered.

50301 is a 2001 Ford E-450 with a Girardin body, seen at the Brockville Centre on May 24, 2002.  This photo shows the bus with the same colour scheme as 50299, with two pairs of blue and gold stripes running the length of the bus.

50301 was spotted again on Pine Street on April 10, 2008.  By this time the bus was sporting a much simpler livery with only one blue stripe along the length of the bus.

50105 is a 2005 Ford E-450 with a Crestline body, shown waiting for riders at the Pine Street transfer point of April 10, 2008.

50105 was seen again at Court House Green with 50407 on August 8, 2009.

50205 is another 2005 Ford E-450 minibus, seen on Pine Street near the Brockville Courthouse on April 10, 2008.  This photo shows the wheelchair lift ordered on these buses to meet Ontario’s accessibility requirements.

This photo shows all three buses in service on April 10, 2008.  Front to back the buses are 50301, 50205 and 50105.  This transfer point is also known as Court House Green, and is referred to as such in the Brockville Transit timetable.

50407 is a 2007 IC Corporation LC Series, seen at the Pine Street transfer point on August 8, 2009.  These low-floor cutaway buses are also used in Kingston and the Ontario towns of Lindsay, Port Hope, St. Thomas, and Trenton.

50309 is a 2009 Ford E-450 cutaway bus, seen at Court House Green on August 8, 2009.
